I start the month of July with a total of 18,373 pages and the whole month to chase those elusive 20,000 pages.
To start off this month-long reading session, I can not think of a better way than to dive right into the latest installment of Batman: Detective Comics, I have fallen so behind with DC Comics current timeline, but there is no better time to catch up with it.
And to send June off in style, yesterday, along with the local art museum, we organized a walk through the ever-changing landscape of the urban context in our fair city.
The particularity of this place is that you can see how slowly it has transformed from cotton fields to strip malls.
Historically, this place was the beginning point of the agricultural area of our city, it will follow the Rio Bravo for approximately 37 miles covered in fields and acequias were not only the agrarian activity thrived but also leisure activities that all people of my age fondly remember.
The purpose of this walking experiences is to rescue some of this history and preserve the memories of this places, through photography, before they vanish beneath a thick layer of asphalt.
Well, I’ll get back to my reading and to enjoy these vacation period.
