I have been a little slow on my reading, so I am trying to make up for lost time.
I was planning to have about 14,000 pages to go by August 1, and right now I have about 14,780 pages to go.
Still a good chunk, but I’ll focus on chipping away that number, and getting my estimated date of reaching 500,000 pages even closer.
So, the immediate plan is to be close to 10,500 pages to go when I reach 55 days to go on my reading year, which is 20 days away.
For this, I will employ the help of my trustworthy friends, graphic novels.
On tonight’s menu, there is a couple of them, really different styles if graphic narrative.
On one side the psychedelic writing of Grant Morrison’s Doom Patrol.
On the other the quirky world of John Allison’s Giant Days.
Both have been incredibly fun.
Now to keep on pounding away on those amazing stories.
Off to read.
