(Y-10) catching a rithym

Finally, I have caught an extraordinary groove, both on my reading and some new vinyl acquisitions.

On the reading front, I finished a couple of graphic novels, Lady Mechanika Vol.1 and Punk Rock Jesus.

Both displaying some breathtaking art.

Mr. Benitez (Lady Mechanika) and Mr. Murphy (Punk Rock Jesus) take along some dystopian realities that fully submerge you onto this shadow-filled worlds that leave you in awe and begin for more.

Also, in glad to inform, that these two graphic novels help me pass the 14,000-page mark for this reading year.

On the sonic front, I have been overwhelmingly active, there are a couple of album on their way, the first is the debut record by Lo Moon because it is traveling from the UK I’ll expect it by the end of next week. The Second one is the newest record by Father John Misty; I bought through an offer by Spotify, a gorgeous red vinyl record will be on its way by June 1, the official release date.

Fortunately, I have some new records to keep me busy in the meantime.

Pure Comedy by Father John Misty, AM and Favourite Worst Nightmare by Arctic Monkeys, Unknown Pleasures by Joy Division, Vitalogy by Pearl Jam and Sunset Strip R.I.P by The Flytraps seem like an extraordinary selection.

And lastly, today marks officially the day that I got up from my lazy ass and started prepping my little desert oasis for the end of spring and the beginning of summer. Lately, I had neglected it, but we have plans to use as often as we can this season, a couple of beers, some hundred pages and just be outside and take in some air.

The first thing was to give my beloved mesquite tree a proper space so it can grow and eventually fill with those amazing yellow flowers the entrance to our home.

More changes to the little oasis in the coming days.

Well now back to it.

Those books are not going to read themselves.

Happy Readings!!!
