(Y-12) Up for the challenge

My insomnia has kicked in, and as always, I will take advantage of it.

With exactly one week to go on this amazing 2019, I have to put the pedal to the metal and try to reach my self appointed crazy challenge for this December.

I never shy away from a challenge.

To keep things rolling, I’ll continue reading some more stories from a galaxy far, far away.

To begin this early morning, I’ll dive into the fourth volume of the amazing Star Wars series Doctor Aphra.

Let’s chase those pages.

I am off to read.

(Y-12) In the middle of things

I have just passed the middle of this last month of reading in this spectacular 2019.

I will make a full report of my total pages read on this my twelve year of reach, which has surpassed the 6,000-page mark, tomorrow morning.

For what concerns this month of reading, I have just passed the 2000-page mark, of the whopping 7,000 goal.

These days have been a bit hectic, but with my kids just about to go on winter break, I foresee some very productive days ahead of me.

The other exciting thing coming up is the premiere of Star Wars Episode IX, which I am going to see on Friday night, in the meantime, I will still be knee-deep in all Star Wars stuff I can get my hands on.

As you can see in the pictures below, I have read quite a few stories, I highly recommend the series Doctor Aphra and the Tie-In story, The Screaming Citadel.

Also, I plan to get thru the whole movie saga by Friday, currently, I am on Episode VI.

To finish off the day, I’ll keep on reading the third book of the amazing series The New Jedi Order, Dark Tyde-Ruin.

Off to read.

(Y-12) the state of things

This is the fifth day of my month-long Star Wars marathon, and things are moving along quite nicely.

To start off, I have been rocking some great Star Wars gear, and hopefully will keep on doing it until I go and watch the last chapter of one of my favorite movies, The Rise of Skywalker.

Also, I have read volumes 6 and 7 of the on-going Star Wars series, I liked volume 7 a lot, it is pretty cool how they linked our favorite classic rebels with the one seen on Rogue One, and of this on the decimated planet Jedha.

And to top off this Star Wars extravaganza, I have finished the comic book series leading up to The Rise of Skywalker, Allegiance, a four-part miniseries, that depicts our friends of the Resistance in desperate need of a new fleet and weapons, I would not go any further than that, you should check it out.

With all this reading, I have just passed the 700 page mark, a good start to what seems to be an amazing winter break.

I am off to read.

(Y-12) Here we go…for real this time

I got back to my house, and found the next two novels in the New Jedi series waiting for me in my shelf.

I’ll go and pick-up the rest along the way.

Let the festivities begin, again, for real this time.

I’ll better get to read.

(Y-12) A slight change of plans

As I started reading The Dark Nest Trilogy, I came to release that there is a lot of references to a series known as The New Jedi Order, from which I read the first book of twenty one stories, this between books and novellas.

So I have decided to shift my focus to that series, the next two books are waiting for me in my shelf, before continuing with the Dark Nest Trilogy.

I can foresee that this Star Wars month is about to overflow

I am off to read.
