Some of them are really brutal, and I am much looking forward to tackle them.

I am off to read.

(Y-12) Keep the spookiness rolling

We are 5 days until Halloween, and that means some monsters galore.

Up next in my reading, besides my traditional Frankenstein annual reading, is the first volume of the classic Marvel Comics series Werewolf by Night, the cursed man knowed as Jacob Russoff.

Created by Roy Thomas, Gerry Conway and Mike Ploog, he first appear in Marvel Spotlight #2 in 1972.

I pretended to read this last year, but now it is the perfect season to do so.

I am off to read.

(Y-12) Reading streak

I have been using the Bookly app since June, and I am so far loving it.

It is a very good way to keep track of your reading habits and progress, and also to motivate you to push farther.

Right now I am working on a very good streak, 50 days to be precise.

And I have logged a bit over 13,000 pages, this again from June, and there are things I can’t log, but pretty much everything is here.

Now I am off to read.

(Y-12) First Week

The first week of this the twelve year of reading is officially in the books.

And I must say it was a pretty decent start.

I read 672 pages, and registered 596 pages.

Let me explain this really quickly, one is the net total pages I read, in this case 672, and the other is the pages I register in my digital files, and this is exclusively of things I have finished reading.

For example, in this week of reading , I am working on The Companions by R.A. Salvatore, and had a progress of 75 pages, that goes into my net total, but until I finish the full 442 pages of the book, it will not appear on the registered total.

So, I’ll keep working on my little steps to get to the big goals.

I am off to read.

(Y-12) Namesake

I am about to start reading the comic book version of one of my favourite novels, The Servant of the Bones by Anne Rice, published back in 1996, around the time I was getting seriously into reading.

And it is actually where I draw from my alias, from the main character, Azriel, the ghost of a young Babylonian cursed to serve anyone who possess his gold encased bones.

I have read the novel a couple of times, now it is the turn of the comic book adaptation.

I am off to read.

(Y-12) Lights out, Reading on

Once again there has been a massive blackout.

In this long lightness nights there is only one thing to do, read.

Fortunately my tablet still has some little juice left.

So I think I’ll read some more of the adventures of combat magician William Gravel.

Hopefully the lights will be back shortly, but there is no rush.

Off to read.
